Working on this logo was the starting point in my career of creating vector-based graphics.
This is the complete version of the round logo with dark navy wording. It is depicted here on a neutral gray background in order to show the text as well as the transparent ring. Alternate long versions with larger wording are shown at the bottom of the page.
Shared Reality Solutions is a collaborative fact-checking platform designed to dispel disinformation to create a shared reality.
Having recently gone through a rebranding, their previous logo was the colorful bird/flower image in the center, and an upgrade on the original logo was desired.
This original logo was inspired by the Venn diagram, which reminded me of the meeting of the minds.
I took to finding the circles and overlapping them with varying degrees of opacity and sizes, creating a more expansive feel.
The layers of circles upon circles, was a fun discovery of visual interplay.
The original vision was to place a white ring around the flower.
We ultimately settled on the transparent ring instead, adding an edge of intrigue and depth.
This project was the start of my fascination working with overlapping circles for many future logo design inspirations.
I love this upgrade! The original logo looks flat by comparison.
I especially like the sense of echoing resonance, which is a central theme of the design of the platform.
